When someone is bia it effects there opinion like you can't have a source that is your only source but it is about a racist person supporting racism ._. Bc then if the essay/ whatever you need a source for is about racism and whether it is good or bad the source is tainted (not really credible)

Bias- prejudice in favor of or against one thing, person, or group compared with another, usually in a way considered to be unfair.

When ur lookin at a source u want it to be credible. So unfairly favoring one side takes away from the credibility. like over hyping one side

bias is one sided pretty much so there can be a situation of bias in nearly everything
