I think 1-down is "disintegrate", but that doesn't fit with the answer you entered for 2-across... Maybe 2-across is "irritable", instead of "conscious"? And then, I think "conscious" fits better into the clue for 14-across: "antonym: unaware or unresponsive"

I think you're spot-on with the 6-across word, so no need to change that.
7-across is a word that should have the same meaning as "important", so I think "vitally" is a good fit there
For 8-across, the word that describes someone's sense of right and wrong is "conscience".
11-across is a word you might use to describe a big change. Probably "transformation"
13-across is another definition; when rephrase a message without using the same words, you "paraphrase", so that's the word we want
