Imagine that you have a younger brother or sister and they are curious about how the world works. Your younger sibling begins to question why there are rules and why the country has a president, you remember that all citizens work as a team to make a strong community and a strong nation. In a short paragraph, explain the top five reasons why you think it is important to learn about civics. Give one example for each.
Well, there's different types of point of views you could explain from. I'm gonna explain it from 2nd Person POV as if you were telling your younger sibling this xd Obviously, I can't give you a direct answer so I'll give you a few facts which would represent each reason. 1. You should learn about civics because it would help you know about the difference in politics past and present. It can help you tell the difference between how people were treated or how the government punished or rewarded people for good or bad deeds. 2. Learning about civics can ensure that you have the knowledge and information of possibly participating during public events, otherwise also known as Citizen Duties and Rights. 3.Once you learn about civics, you'll know why specific things are done and why they happen. 4.When or during the time when learning about civics, you'll notice that there are different types of governments, rules, and rights. Every person will have a different opinion based on what they know or what they heard. Not everything might be true but once you learn, you can have an opinion based on what you specifically know. 5. Learning about civics means that you would learn why different governments would have different duties, which citizens sometimes have a choice or no choice in deciding to participate. -Based on these 5 reasons/facts, you would be able to come up with an example for each one of them.
