Depends on how you subscribed, if you subscribed using the `Donate` link it has to be manually (that is unless you switched to the normal route), but if you do it the normal route, it automatically pays for itself until you cancel it.

im pretty sure that you can have it set so that it auto pays after every month or you can turn it off
