Remove the parenthesis then what will the two expressions be

TETSXPREME:

10 & 12

TETSXPREME:

flase

TETSXPREME:

false

supie:

All i said was remove the parenthesis lol 1st expression - \(\color{red}{(}5\times2\color{red}{)}\times6\) 2nd expression - \(5\times\color{red}{(}2\times6\color{red}{)}\)

boredfr:

Ok so when you remove the parenthesis you have to solve the rest of the equation so you have 10x6 and 12x5 10x6=60 12x5=60

supie:

they both have the same numbers being multiplied, if i was to remove the parenthesis on both of the expressions it would become 1st expression - \(\color{red}{}5\times2\color{red}{}\times6\) 2nd expression - \(5\times\color{red}{}2\times6\color{red}{}\)

TETSXPREME:

its false o:

you wouldn't even need to solve them because you would be able to see that both of the equations are the same e.e

He didn't see that tho now did he?

TETSXPREME:

False

supie:

... are the two equations the same ?

TETSXPREME:

False

TETSXPREME:

yea that equation is the same

supie:

which means that they are equal so is it true or false ?

supie wrote:
when i say "it", i'm referring to the statement "both sides of the expression below are equal" in your screenshot question or wtv

TETSXPREME:

False

supie:

are \(\color{red}{(}5\times2\color{red}{)}\times6\) and \(5\times\color{red}{(}2\times6\color{red}{)}\) equal ?

surjithayer:

asosciative property of multiplication. says\[(a \times b)\times c=a\times (b \times c)\] what do you conclude?
