ReneRamirez18:

Two competing gyms each offer childcare while parents work out. Gym A charges $9.00 per hour of childcare. Gym B charges $0.75 per 5 minutes of childcare. Which comparison of the childcare costs is accurate?

SmokeyBrown:

Gym B charges $0.75 for every 5 minutes, and there are 60 minutes in an hour. So, every hour, 5 minutes pass 12 times. That means, effectively that Gym B charges $0.75 * 12 or $9.00 per hour So, uh, how does that compare to the rate for Gym A?

surjithayer:

both are same for whole hours, means 1,2,3 etc but for fractoional time , B is good.
