What is the area of a polygon with vertices of (-2,2), (3,2), (7,-5), and (-2,-5)?

AZ:

If you plot out the points, this is the polygon that gets formed. Do you know what shape it is? Do you know the formula for finding the area of such a polygon?

It's been 25 minutes and you have since gone offline, the polygon is a trapezoid area of a trapezoid = 1/2 * (base1 + base2) * height

So for your own image, just count the number of blocks since each block is 1 unit long to find the length of the bases and the height of the trapezoid
