Kayla21:

Mila builds her own frames for paintings. She has one frame with a length of 60 centimeters and a width of 45 centimeters. She builds a second frame with an equivalent ratio of length to width. If the length of her second frame is 100 centimeters, what is its width?

jhonyy9:

so given that the length of the first frame is 60 cm and the width is 45 cm what is 60/45 in case of the second frame we know that the length is 100 cm so in this way you can write : \[\frac{ 60 }{ 45 }= \frac{ 100 }{ x }\] and from this equality just you need to find the x value - to find the x value like a first idea cross multiplie and divide both sides by 60 hope helped understandably easy
