Please click this link for more info. TL;DR There is an active parasitic amoeba that lives in temperate (basically warm) water. If you swim in water with this amoeba, it goes up your nose and will enter your brain, after which it will start eating the neurons in your brain. This causes an autoimmune response and will cause sickness and eventual death. There is a very low percentage of survival. CLICK THE LINK (blue text) above for more info.
