math problem

jknkjkjnjjjkl:

jknkjkjnjjjkl:

they all have an x as an exponent so im not sure which to pick and they all look like numbers and fractions @kittybasil

kittybasil:

Yikes. They do all look like exponential functions... Let me see

kittybasil:

Okay, here's what I got: "Exponential functions have the form \(f(x)=b^x\) where b > 0 and b ≠ 1" from SOURCE In this case, it seems like all of these choices match that criteria.

kittybasil:

also that's supposed to be "where \(b\gt0\)" sorry for the cut-off

@florisalreadytaken

Florisalreadytaken:

she/he/it brought it to you \[ b>1 \] in the formula \[ y=a(b)^2 \] pick all the ones whose b, is positive

jknkjkjnjjjkl:

kittybasil:

I don't know where the "it" came from but I use they/them, thanks! 😊
