Verticle angles are whenever the angle is across the shape Internal angles are when it's on the inside of the shap

See how the vertex is at one side of the shape and the endpoints are at the other side of shape? If you are looking for the arch of a vertial angle, you would take the angle measurement and I believe double it. *if you are not given any of the arch measurements*
