Hello Questionarians!! I have a fun little 'quiz' I suppose that I ran into while doing my homework - I thought it'd be interesting to see what you guys think about it! I already completed mine - you guys can complete it down in the comments. It's a nice brain workout, I'd say. Directions: Read the following statements below. Use the highlighter tool to highlight “Agree” if you think the statement is true, or highlight “Disagree” if you think the statement is false. Then, explain why in a 2-3 sentences. • Many parents try to relive their own lives through their children. Agree ________ Disagree ________ Explain- • In most cases, mothers usually do know what is best for their daughters. Agree ________ Disagree ________ Explain- • It’s difficult to be happy when your family is messed up. Agree ________ Disagree ________ Explain- • “Still waters run deep.” Agree ________ Disagree ________ Explain- • It’s easy to fall for someone who is attractive. Agree ________ Disagree ________ Explain- • You can’t live in a fantasy world. Agree ________ Disagree ________ Explain- • Society doesn’t make much room for people who are different. Agree ________ Disagree ________ Explain - • Things have a way of turning out badly. Agree ________ Disagree ________ Explain-
question: do u have to explain on both choices?
No no - it's opinion based, if you agree, you can explain why - but you don't have to.
ohhh ok
So based on 'our' opinions-? xd
1st. agreed, (imo) 2nd. idk an answer for that. 3rd, agreed. 4th, I don't get that ;-;. 5th, disagree (imo) 6th, agreed. 7th, agreed. 8th, agreed.
If it's based on our opinions- 1. I would say disagree bc the statement says "many" but not "many" parents do it, most parents know what's right and even if they don't, sooner or later, they'll learn their lesson. 2. I would agree bc the relationship between a mother and a daughter is deep since both are women/girls/ladies. 3. On this one, it depends on how the child/kid feels, like how positive or negative, but if I was in the situation, I would agree. 4. Definitely agree, I have a friend who's often shy, but very helpful, kind, sweet, etc. 5. Agree and Disagree, depends on how stubborn a person can be, also depends on a person's past. 6. Agree, you can't 'live' in it, it's pretty much your imagination. 7. This one also depends, it depends on what type of society it is, so I would disagree based on the society I'm in, but it honestly really depends. 8. Agree, as people say, you own your fate, you decide it, but depending on what you have done, things might turn out bad or good.
woah u explained urs even better then i explained mine-
What can i say, i have my way with opinions xd
Hmm I am going to have to do this tomorrow razor. These questions are really cool. You did a good job.
I don't have time on my hands right now BUT I will answer one of the questions.
Question: In most cases, mothers usually do know what is best for their daughters. Answer: Somewhat agree. The reason for this is that most mothers want the best for their children, especially their daughters, and will go to great lengths to ensure that they are protected. However, in terms of other paths like career, education, etc. I don't think they are the most knowledgeable. Some mothers try to steer their daughters away from what they really want.
I might come back and answer the rest. I really like the questions.

I am genetically related to criminal offenders on both coasts, Pizza's scary. 4. No Opinion | I don't get it... 5. Agree | We have a primal urge to pick our mates, it is one of the few things that still connects us to the animal kingdom, just look at how animals evolve. 6. Disagree | A famous person once said "Money is power", so with enough money, you could technically have any machinations become reality 7. Agree 8. Agree
`Many parents try to relive their own lives through their children.` ½ & ½. Many parents are raised completely different which changes their perspective on certain outlooks. Either with raising their child(ren) completely the opposite or in a whole new way. It's all about how they were raised and treated during their childhood and being raised by (a) parent(s). `In most cases, mothers usually do know what is best for their daughters.` Another ½ & ½. I would say this is considered on how a daughter would value her relationship with her mother. Mothers can be protective since they tend to know more of what emotions they would be likely to have. `It’s difficult to be happy when your family is messed up.` ½ & ½. All families have trial and tribulations, and sometimes the positive outlooks can be promising, whilst a negative upbringing can stir in enough motivation to work harder for the best. `“Still waters run deep.”` Personally agreed. Would consider this as "alternative" way of phrasing a Bible verse: Proverbs 17:28. `It’s easy to fall for someone who is attractive. ` Personally, disagreed. Looks can be deceiving. I would rather get to know someone first, if they're respectful, knows how to communicate about how they feel, listen, and have patience is more attractive. `You can’t live in a fantasy world.` Disagree-- As I like to say, it's what you make it up to be. (: `Society doesn’t make much room for people who are different.` Unfortunately, agreed; we all have our own opinions on certain things, but it shouldn't make anyone any different. There's always going to be indifferences from all people alike, but it's what makes us stand out from the rest. `Things have a way of turning out badly.` Disagreed-- It's all based on how we make a decision on an action we chose. We have a choice to pick from good or bad.
