This is unanswered -- why did u close it? anyway -- first, id suggest to have a look at what we're given \[ m \overset{\huge\frown}{GD}= 114^o \] \[ m\angle E=29^o \] \[ m\overset{\huge\frown}{FD}=x^o \] the formula says: \[ m\angle E= \frac{1}{2} \left( m\overset{\huge\frown}{GD} - m\overset{\huge\frown}{FD} \right) \] lets just plug the info we're given in: \[ 29^o = \cancel{ \frac{1}{2}} \left( 114^o - m \overset{\huge\frown}{FD} \right) \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ (\cancel{ \cdot 2} ; \text{to get rid of the 2 in the fraction }) \] \[ 58^o= 114^o - m \overset{\huge\frown}{FD} \] \[ m \overset{\huge\frown}{FD} = 114^o - 58^o \] \[ \LARGE m \overset{\huge\frown}{FD} = ?? \]
