27?

jhonyy9:

what is this 27 ?

yourgrandpa4life:

ok wrong but i forgot the formula

Extrinix:

So, the surface area equation my teacher taught me was, \(SA=2B+Ph\) B = \(l \times w\) P = \(2l+2w\) now we plug these in, so B = \(12 \times 6\) = \(72in^2\) P = \(2(12)+2(6)\) = \(36in^2\) now we plug these into the equation \(SA=2B+Ph\) and add in the height \(SA=2(72)+36(3)\) which gives you \(252in^2\)

Extrinix:

Surface area for ALL prisms, not just rectangular prisms.

yourgrandpa4life:

so 252

Extrinix:

yes.

yourgrandpa4life:

thank u

Extrinix:

You're welcome.
