For question #1 If a square has a side length of 'x' The perimeter is x + x + x + x which is equal to 4 * x And the area is x * x So if the square has a side length of 9 What is the perimeter and area?

The area is going to be length * width so when it says 10 inches wide, that's your width and 14 inches long is the length so the area is 14 * 10 = ?? And for perimeter of a rectangle, it's going to be the sum of all the sides perimeter = length + length + width + width
