LARENZIE:

Which is an example of a direct quotation? According to my research, Zeus was instrumental in starting and ending the entire Trojan War. Greek scholars agree that Zeus frequently changed form so that he could influence others. Dr. W. Wharton explains, “Zeus was the king of the gods, ruler of sky, weather, law, and fate.” Artists usually portray Zeus as a strong man with a dark beard, a lightning bolt, and scepter.

I think its C

KingPizza:

yes, because it refers to a different site that's not your own work, and it also has quotation marks around it taken by a different source and that's what a direct quotation is, so option C is correct

jake111:

I dont have any ideas at the moment but here is the definition. A direct quotation is an exact account of what someone said or wrote. To include a direct quotation in your writing, enclose the words in quotation marks. An indirect quotation is a restatement of what someone said or wrote.
