x = 6.01 Here is the work just in case you need it You can solve using trigonometry Remember these are the trigonometric ratios Sin = Opposite over Hypotenuse Cos = Adjacent over Hypotenuse Tan = Opposite over Adjacent. For the following problem we are given an angle with a measure of 31 degrees. We are also given the angle's adjacent side length and we need to find it's opposite side length Opposite and adjacent corresponds with the trig ratio tan so we will use tan to solve for x Tan31 = x/10 To get rid of the 10 we multiply each side by 10 x/10 * 10 = x Tan31 * 10 = 6.0086 Finally we round to the nearest hundredth and we're left with x = 6.01
