TurtlePrincess:

A jar contains "x" black and "y" white balls. What is the probability that a random draw is black? 1. x/y 2. x/(x + y) 3. y/x

Extrinix:

you have to find the probability of 1 out of 2 items, so your answer would be \(\dfrac{x}{(x+y)}\) because x+y gives you the total amount of items and x is the probability you're looking for.

TurtlePrincess:

Thank youu

df:

1: Black 2: Black 3: White
