So if you have two independent events, A and B and we're trying to find the Probability of A AND B then P(A and B) = P(A) * P(B) Remember, independent events are independent of each other. It's like rolling a dice and flipping a coin. Just because you get tails doesn't mean you'll roll a 6 for example. Does that help you answer your question now?
