any help with math?
Here's the formula, if you scroll to the bottom https://mathbitsnotebook.com/Geometry/Circles/CRAngles.html 5. Angle formed outside of a circle by intersection a tangent and secant
Okay thanks
|dw:1620648859187:dw|
can you apply that to your question? We're trying to find arc PM that's basically 'c' in my image and we know the angle 'a' is 59 and the arc 'b' is 21
Okay now I get it
what do you get
On how to solve the equation I think so like 1/2=(c-21)? or
59*=1/2
okay so I did 59=1/2 times c-21 and got =21?
you're on the right track 59 = 1/2 (c-21) now to get rid of the 1/2, multiply both sides by 2 59 * 2 = 2 * 1/2 * (c-21) what is 59 * 2 = ? and 2 * 1/2 is going to be 1
well 59 times 2 is 118 So then 118=1 times c-21 =139?
As final answer?
That is correct!
Thank you! I might need more help with more and I will let you know surely
You're welcome! For sure :)
