Okay, so when taking an EOC for English, there is ALWAYS a Writing and a Muti-choice part. ALWAYS start with the essay, I know how annoying that sounds but you will better your time better when doing the essay first.

Next, do the READING SECTION!
Why do you ask?
Because it takes the most concentration to write an essay, which is why you should do that first. It requires much of your concentration, sometimes those sections get tedious. You should always re-read the passage/article if you start to drift and forget what you were just writing about.
