The smiths spent $2,000 on clothes in a particular year. If they increase the amount they spend on clothes by 10% each year, the smiths spend a total of what on clothing for 4 years? Somebody help please
I really need this
that's yur answer
10% of 2000 is 200. 200 x 4 years = 800. 2000 - 800 = 1200
oh it would be 2800
u were supposed to add the 800 to the 2000
which comes to ?
so what we know is that the smiths spent $2,000 on clothes in a particular year. so if they increase the amount they spend on clothes by 10% each year in this case how much will spend : first year = ? second year = ? 3rd year = ? 4th year = ? first year 10% of 2000 = 200 => first year they spend 2000+200 = $2200 second year 10% of 2200 = 220 => second year they spend 2200+220 = $2420 3rd year 10% of 2420 = 242 => 3rd year they spend 2420 + 242 = $2662 4th year 10% of 2662 = 266,20 => 4th year they spend 2662 + 266,20 = $2928,20 hope i 've understood right your problem and solved understandably easy @AZ opinion please - tysm
@extrinix opinion here please - tysm
You would be correct on everything, but when you list numbers with a decimal, try and use a period instead of a comma so it doesn't confuse anyone.
so sorry but i ve learned it in this way how you say - think - use a period ?
