Hi. Help me now or else. < 3 How do you know swimming pools are safe to swim in?
bc they clean them daily when they close idk abt pools at ur house tho
It has to be sum abt pH levels and stoof.
yes the ph leveles the pool turns a certain color when its not kept up
^^
That makes a bit of sense. Because when the pool changes color it signifies it's unbalanced. Correct me if I'm wrong. So I should say that. To tell if a pool is safe or not, check the color and see if the pH is unbalanced. But lakes are always a different color, yet we can swim in them.
Swimming pools are and are not safe to swim in honestly no one knows if u r safe till your done swimming bc u could die at any point. *Dont swim with a tarp on it, its not a good idea, i've done it b4*
Yeah but bacteria can be washed off. And by living being's you mean living organisms, not bodies/beings. Even if they're humans. Humans wash, so any bacteria present can be washed away both before and after they enter, depending on their hygiene routines.
So the main cause would be bacteria?
astrid, home swimming pools have to have chemicals and other things bc the water is sitting still. to kill bacteria and anything else that tries to grow and could be harmful, lakes and ponds are different. bc tht is nature.
Yes, but the water created for pools is also nature right..? Also ik they have a certain chemical in there, how you think the pools stay clear after all the kid's pee in there?
lol, not what i meant but ok. and yes even as water is put in there from a water hose. it already has a basic of chemicals in it.
Yea.
not just the color of the water, its the color of the chemical testing kits you get. the color of the water can also differ with different chemicals you use
mhmmmmmmmmm. Idk what to say atm. <.<
the color of the water isnt necessarily a prob until its green.
When it's green it's untrustworthy <.< and idk what smart thing to say atm <.> bc what I'm learning is completely different than what i thought. xd
lol, green normally just means you've lost chemicals in you pool, and algae is growing.
have you had to tend to a swimming pool before?
When you lose chemicals in the pool, is it not healthy for the water/ those who swim in it? and actually the closest thing I've had to tend to with a pool is the pond I have and all we do is spray it down with the hose and strain it with a kitchen strainer <.<
i mean, im sure if the right fungus or bacteria develops. then yes, at some point it becomes unsafe/ healthy
