helpppp ss down below
what do u think?
B
i was thinking the same thing honestly, but I am not completely sure-
no
oh =(
so honestly these kind of questions are really dumb but I'm going based on your previous question https://questioncove.com/assets/attachments/1620784053-609b33af4de8436039c9b000-image.png that diagram was of 3/8 of 1/2
For this question, let's split it into two Can you tell me what fraction this is in the red box?
this ain't my work but AZ is it 'A'? u can dm me yes or no if u want 0-0
you can count how many squares are in the red box and that's your numerator and the total number of squares will be the number in the bottom which is your denominator
well if you looked in my drawing, I drew a red box but basically the green box is the area that overlaps between the blue box and the yellow box
but sure basically what is the blue box + green box and then what is the green box + yellow boxes
how much are those represented as fractions?
no, the denominator has to be greater than the numerator
let me do one as an example the first fraction is the blue boxes + green remember, the green is just because the blue and yellow boxes overlapped and so the color became green but the first fraction is
so do you see how it's 35 little squares shaded out of 42 \(\dfrac{35}{42}\) is the same thing as \(\dfrac{6}{7}\)
now the second fraction would be the yellow squares and remember how the green squares are part of the yellow squares it's just green because it's also part of the blue squares So how would you write this as a fraction?
