Alright, so to figure this one out, we need to find cos y and sin x, first, we need to do the Pythagorean theorem to find the hypotenuse, \(c^2=8^2+6^2\) simplify \(c^2=64+36\) add together \(c^2=100\) square it \(c=10\) now, let's look at the list of sine cosine and tangent: \(SOH~CAH~TOA\) and so that would be: \(sin^\text{-1}(\dfrac{6}{10})=x^\circ\) = 36.9 and \(cos^\text{-1}(\dfrac{6}{10})=y^\circ\) = 53.1 now you can compare how these 2 are similar to one another.
