Florisalreadytaken:

lets first solve for x \[\begin{cases}y=-2x-2\\ 7x+3y=-9 \end{cases}\] its already there 4 us -- just plug the y value in \[ 7x+3(-2x-2)=-9 \] \[ 7x + \ -3\cdot 2x-3 \cdot 2=−9 \] \[ 7x + \ -6x-6 =−9 \] \[ 7x−6x−6=−9 \] \[ x-6=-9 \] \[ x=-3 \]

Florisalreadytaken:

sorry i have to go -- @snowflake0531 finish it 4 me please. thanks.

snowflake0531:

Well, flor has already solve x for you, as -3 So now use x= -3 into y= -2x -2, and solve for y y=-2(-3) -2
