which four
HaydenwH:
ok, so you know y=6
so you will take your equation 6y-1
plug your y in which would be
6(y)-1 if y= 6 then plug it in and solve it
ChrisTheFlash:
the first 4 questions
ChrisTheFlash:
6(6)-1(6) is that right?
ChrisTheFlash:
so 36-36

is 0
HaydenwH:
why did you sub the second 6?
HaydenwH:
there is only 1 "y" in the problem, so you only sub (6) where there is a "y"
Katrin369:
If there is only on y, then replace the y with the 6 you don't have to put two extra y's in the equation.
HaydenwH:
6(6)-1

6x6 = 36

Katrin369:
