Well, Renaissance means rebirth.

Which makes me think of god creating new people and the rebirth of him, and religion. New things being created.

But it's actually (according to history.com) a fervent period of European cultural, artistic, political, and economic “rebirth” following the Middle Ages.

I assume change. The Renaissance used to be like a new era. But it was once all about change, human beings in the time exchange their approaches of everything. From their way of life to how they tought in schools. Renaissance skill rebirth or reborn and this is what I suppose about it.
