excerpt from Act III, Scene 2, in A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare Puck My fairy lord, this must be done with haste, For night’s swift dragons cut the clouds full fast, And yonder shines Aurora’s harbinger, At whose approach, ghosts wand’ring here and there Troop home to churchyards. Damnèd spirits all, That in crossways and floods have burial,… Which quotation from the excerpt creates a sense of time? "At whose approach, ghosts wand’ring here and there / Troop home to churchyards.…" "My fairy lord, this must be done with haste," "For night’s swift dragons cut the clouds full fast, / And yonder shines Aurora’s harbinger," "Troop home to churchyards. Damnèd spirits all, / That in crossways and floods have burial,…"

BLOODBATHFEVER:

what?

xxemilianaxx:

Can you explain what you have to do a little further please

xxemilianaxx:

Oh wait I see, Well, first, What do you think

Razor:

A sense of time is created in the present, so any excerpt that doesn't reference time can automatically be eliminated. "At whose approach, ghosts wand’ring here and there / Troop home to churchyards.…" -is eliminated. Why? Because it doesn't reference time in any way. It only references distance and traveling. "My fairy lord, this must be done with haste," -is eliminated. Why? Well you might be thinking, "It references haste here, that's time related, right?" Well - it's a hinting at a task that has yet to be completed, talking about something in the future isn't in the present. Therefore, not the answer we're looking for. "For night’s swift dragons cut the clouds full fast, / And yonder shines Aurora’s harbinger," -is our answer. Why? Because when it says, 'dragons cut the cloud full fast', the image in our head develops a picture of something making headway, quickly. Which is why the character 'Puck' should hurry with what he's doing. "Troop home to churchyards. Damnèd spirits all, / That in crossways and floods have burial,…" -is eliminated. This references locations, not time or distance.

Razor:

Any extra thoughts from outside parties in case I could be wrong?

Extrinix:

I agree with that, Razor.
