Area of parallelogram = base * height the base is 3 the height is 2/3 so multiply the two numbers

AZ:

To make the parallelogram into two triangles, it would look something like this area of triangle = 1/2 * base * height

AZ:

the area of the triangle would be half of the total area

rxcklesskaisher:

how do i add 2\3?

AZ:

you multiply

rxcklesskaisher:

i meant multiply * sorry

AZ:

3 * 2/3 \( 3 \times \dfrac{2}{3}\) do you see how the 3 would cancel out?

AZ:

you have a 3 in the top and a 3 in the bottom when you multiply it, it would leave you with 2

rxcklesskaisher:

i have to type this btw

AZ:

I've given you everything already

rxcklesskaisher:

oh

AZ:

You have the formula for the area and the numbers and I even told you what you get when you calculate the area

rxcklesskaisher:

ok, i still have to type all of it

rxcklesskaisher:

thats what im asking i cant just put 2 and whatever

AZ:

did you read anything I wrote...

AZ:

You can literally write what I wrote and re-word it to your liking

rxcklesskaisher:

i will do hat then

rxcklesskaisher:

that*

AZ:

If you want me to read over it once you're done and check it, I'd be more than glad to do that
