Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein were Washington Post journalists whose reports during the Watergate affair led to the resignation of Richard Nixon as president. What did their role demonstrate? Media's role as watchdog Judicial review Media bias Executive privilege
Am I right with D?
@smokeybrown
no not quite
so executive privilage is basically the government holding info from the public, what the reporters did was expose the withheld info to the general public
it is executive privilege
but the question is asking about the REPORTERS not the presidents part
the out rules B and D as answers, so what do you think the reporters did? and how was this reflected as a role
I think axie has the right idea here. The reporters were both acting as members of the media, which should give you a hint about the correct answer
so gucchi what do you think the answer is?
Is it A?
yeah!
Nice. "watchdogs" does describe pretty well what the reporters were doing. You got it!
i hope you have a great day!
Thank you
