heres the rough draft example i dont think i have to write longggggggggg paragraphs but ik i have to have it 2-3 pages long The Life and Legacy of William ShakespeareWilliam Shakespeare is one of the most widely recognized names inEnglishliterature.Yet according to scholars, it’sa miracle that he survived. He was born during a time when the plague killed one-eighth of allchildren, and –it is recorded –there was a plague outbreak in Shakespeare’s village the year he was born (Baker 2). Though he had two older sisters, he was the oldest of his siblings to survive to adulthood (Baker 1). Shakespeare lived in a difficult and uncertain world, but he used his literary skill to capture that world in the rich language of his plays. Understanding the influences of Shakespeare’s early years and his life in London allows readers to appreciate the significance and impact of his writing. William Shakespeare was born in England in a village called Stratford-Upon-Avon. He was probably born on April 23, 1564. Scholars believe this because hisparents, John and Mary Shakespeare, had him baptized at Holy Trinity Church on April 26, according to church records (Mazzeno). Scholars assume they were following the tradition of the time, having their child baptized at three days old. Shakespeare had at least four other siblings who were baptized and at least three who lived to adulthood (Baker 1). William Shakespeare’s father was glover, meaning he made ornately decorated gloves for the aristocracy. These gloves would have included detailed stitchingand precious stones, and they would have been very expensive. This indicates that Shakespeare probably grew up in Student 2a steady, middle-class familyand that he would have probably seen aristocrats and even some royalty as they came in and out of his father’s shop (Famous Authors). Records show that his father was able to buy the family a house with a garden on the fashionable Henley Street, and he also bought other property in Stratford (Baker 2). If fact, in 1592 John Shakespeare was granted a coat of arms, which indicated that he was a “gentleman of substance with ‘lands and tenements of good wealth and substance’ to be worth the then considerable sum of 500 (Baker 4).”Because his father was a tradesman, Shakespeare probably attended the local grammar school, though there is no written evidence of this (Price). If he did attend the grammar school, he most likely would have studied religious texts, such as the Bible, The Book of

Ralph Waldo Emerson was one of the most poetic lecturer in the world. He usually went by his first name Waldo. According to Wikipedia he was born in the century of slavery. Later he would be an abolitionist and a poet because he wanted to tell the world how he felt about it. He also led the Transcedentalist act in the mid-19th century. Ralph Emerson was born on May 25, 1803, and he was not a very religious person to begin with considering he was very good at poetry. And that he felt he needed to get his thoughts out rather than focus on the bigger things so he always spoke about how he felt with the goodness of the world. Waldo had three sibilings; Phebe, John Clarke, and Mary Caroline. Sadly they all died during childhood. But his four brothers who survived to adulthood were William, Edward, Robert Bulkeley and Charles. His father died due to stomach cancer when Waldo was only 8. Waldos father’s name was Reverend William Emerson, and he was a Boston resident who worked as a Unitarian minister.
