Wally has a hobby. He likes making furniture. He finds that he gets many compliments on the furniture he makes. Under what conditions will it be in Wally's best interest to go to a craft fair and sell some of his custom furniture? If the cost of making the furniture is less than the price Wally believes he will be able to sell it for If many people from the area attend whom Wally thinks might want custom furniture If Wally believes he will only be able to sell the furniture for less than the cost of the materials he used to make it If Wally determines that the demand for custom furniture is low
Am I right with A?
@extrinix
it might be b
i doubt it
What concept are you discussing in your studies?
wdym?
what subject is this?
It seems like it's economics. Are you learning about supply and demand? Marketing? What are you learning about right now?
Ohh, American money
Okay so the question we have to ask ourselves is what the question is specifically looking for here. Do you know what it's asking for?
Market economies
Alright which of the answers do you think it's not?
Let me see
Maybe B
D doesnt seem like it would be an answer
Between A and C, i think A would be a better answer
C also wouldn't make any sense.
Yeah, it wouldn't
So that leaves us with A and B.
I don't think B would be the answer
What is your reasoning?
If he is getting steady compliments on the quality of the furniture he makes then if he could sell the furniture for more then it costs to make then it would be a good idea to go to a Craft Fair so that is why i think A is correct.
What is the wording that we're looking for to eliminate B?
B would be incorrect because Wally would not make and money by going around looking for someone that would want custom furniture. Wally wants to sell his furniture for a less price, so people can afford to buy it. This can also get him many compliments
Good reasoning, but not quite the reasoning we're looking for.
What we're looking for is much more specific to the question itself. Where is Wally debating selling his furniture at?
people do like custom furniture but alot of people have alot of money
idk i dont have good reasoning so idk i bother trying
If you're not sure the answer just don't respond to the question.
because its better to try than not try at all
Brb i have to do something
Not in this instance @newdawn1. It just provides confusion.
so your trying to say im not smart?
I'm not saying that at all. All I'm saying is that you don't know the answer to this particular question so don't answer it. You yourself admitted that you didn't have the best reasoning for this question.
well nobody just knows an answer to a question you have to have information
I'm done arguing about this. This is a multiple choice question meaning there is an objectively correct answer to this question. When you see the question and you don't know the answer to it don't confuse people by throwing out guesses. It only makes the situation more confusing for everyone involved.
bruh i dont think you seem to understand that im trying dude nobody always knows an answer to a question but sometimes you have to make a guess im sorry im not as smart as you are
