History 10 Online
kekeman:

How did the Agricultural Revolution help accelerate the Industrial Revolution? Surplus agricultural labor became available for industrial work. Technological innovations meant that more people were required to manage the land. Greater farm income enabled rich landowners to become inventors. The enclosure system on farms was a model for industrial factories.

Isry:

What do you know about both Revolutions?

kekeman:

Not much

Isry:

Okay so lets think logically then. What was a consequence of the Agricultural Revolution?

SaltTheLoser:

its a cause a surplus of labor means they could find work in an industrial job

Isry:

Why did they have a surplus of labor Salt?

SaltTheLoser:

they had a surplus due to new machines that cut the labour of having to hire 20 people to work the fields or collect crops , so people who owned the farms could lay off workers and pay less for them while they could go look for a job in the city

Isry:

Bingo.
