Which statement BEST contrasts core and periphery countries? Periphery countries spend a large portion of GDP on infrastructure development, while core countries spend a large portion of GDP on social services. Periphery countries have import-driven economies, while core countries have export-driven economies. Periphery countries mainly use coal and oil for energy, while core countries mainly use nuclear power and natural gas. Periphery countries have low corporate tax burdens, while core countries have higher corporate tax burdens. Periphery countries rely largely on extraction, while core countries rely on the transfer of goods, services, and information.
This one is significantly harder
But I know "Core countries are consumers, semi-peripheral countries are producers, and peripheral countries are extractors. "Periphery countries are known for exporting raw goods to core countries." "Periphery countries are continuously exploited by countries due to the exportation of surpluses of raw goods to the more technologically industrialized core countries for manufacturing and distribution."
ok so lets cross some things off the list(i don't know the answer but I may be able to help a bit) import is when things go in to the country while export is when things go out which is why we can cross off number two because core countries rely on imports while peripheral countries produce!
also I believe that you can cross of 3 and 1 as they have nothing to do with what you have given however i am not sure That is all i can tell you as i am not skilled in economy however this may help it is only a few paragraphs https://www.thoughtco.com/core-and-periphery-1435410
Ok thank you I think I got it :)
good job :)
