Which sentence contains a dangling modifier? Looking out the window, I saw the rain start to fall. Looking out the window, Liz felt the sun on her face. Looking out the window, we saw the car accident occur. Looking out the window, the sun was blazing in the sky.
Am I right with D?
ok
Yes- you are- Carmelle actually asked this question too -.- Imma just tell you the same thing i did with carmelle- --A dangling modifier is "a word or phrase which is used to modify a word or term not clearly stated in any given sentence." Based on the meaning I gave you You can eliminate A and C because a dangling modifier is technically when you don't describe something- for example, if you say "the small" what exactly is the small thing? In answer choice A, who is "I"? In answer choice C, who is "we"? We are left with B and D.
And- your answer is D xd, i used the process of elimination with carmelle-
Ohh ok, thank you.
carmelle might actually be in my class wth
You're Welcome xd Yeaaaaa- I have a feeling you two either know each other- or just in the same school and grade-
