jhonyy9:

do you know formula \[a^{3}-b^{3} = ?\]

jhonyy9:

use this to factorize the denominator

HeartTricker:

Yes, which dominator? 8x^3 or 4x^2?

GoodFellow:

The denominator of the main function, the first one

GoodFellow:

It's about factorizing both denominator & numerator

AZ:

\( a^3 - b^3 = (a-b)(a^2 + ab + b^2)\) so how would you simplify the denominator? \( 8x^3 - 1 = ??\) Hint: \( 8x^3 = (2x)^3\) and \( 1 = 1^3\) can you factor \(8x^3 -1 \) now?

AZ:

also a hint for factoring the numerator \( a^2 - 2ab + b^2 = (a-b)^2\) \( 4x^2 - 4x + 1\) so 4x^2 is a^2 so what is 'a' and if b^2 is 1 what is b? so can you factor it?

AZ:

and then can you simplify the fraction after you factor the numerator and denominator
