first one is multiply by 3 o-0
The three bullet points tell you what valid operations you can do on matrices. You kind of need to play around and experiment with the operations to see how to get the new matrices For example, For #2, they multiplied the second row by 2, and added it to the first row 1, -6, 2 multiplied by 2 becomes 2, -12, 4 When you add 2, -12, 4 to the first row, you get 10, 0, 9
okokay thanks o-o and then for the 4th one, subtract second row with the first to get the new second row but how about the last one o-o for the last two columns it could be subtracting double the first row to get the new second o-o but then the first column doesn't make sense
