Well, the number of dots is the number of observations The median is the middle point of the data, crossing off the smallest and biggest data values, then the second smallest, second biggest, etc., until you get to the middle mean is adding up all the values and then dividing it by the total amount of data points range is the biggest number minus the smallest number
