kekeman:

What is a criticism of the categorizations of nations as developed or developing? Only Europe and the United States have developed nations. Cold War superpowers are the only nations which are considered to be developed. More countries in the Americas are considered developed than anywhere else in the world. Western-style models are generally considered more developed than non-Western models.

MrMudd183:

Which answer choices do you think we can eliminate?

MrMudd183:

I believe we can eliminate B and D, here's why B we can eliminate because one superpower had to be completely torn down and stripped of their military. D we can eliminate because western-style models are kind of like less advanced in technology then some people could think. Thosea re the reasons why I believe B and D can't be the correct answer, so that leaves us with A and C

kekeman:

I think that the answer is D.)

MrMudd183:

Why's that? My vision of it is that the Western-style models could be represented as the old-timey places, i.e. cowboy times

kekeman:

In Western nations, development was measured by technological and economic power, meanwhile, in eastern and southern nations, they held cultural and humanitarian value as a standard of development.

MrMudd183:

That's true, I didn't think about it that way. So we can keep D. Aftrer reading the actual thing for the western nations, that one makes the most sense to me so I'm believing it could be the answer

kekeman:

Yes thank you so much

MrMudd183:

You're welcome, if you need any more assistance feel free to tag me

kekeman:

Will do
