vertebrate mysteries
I will not do the whole thing, but I will provide some guidance to help you get started Each "mystery" matches with one of the five main vertebrate classes (amphibians, mammals, birds, reptiles, fish). You need to use the clues inside each mystery to help match it to the right vertebrate class. Some clues are more helpful/specific than others. I'll do the first one as an example: Here are the characteristics that stick out to me: - Breathes w/ lungs - Hair - Almost always born alive (not eggs, etc.), nursed with milk - Warm-blooded These are almost exclusively unique to **mammals**. Which means mystery #1 matches with mammals. Following this line of thinking, try to do the rest of them. If you're stuck, you should review common characteristics of birds, reptiles, fish, and amphibians.
