Mass of solute equals 100 g Mass of solvent equals 400 g Mass of solution = 400 + 100 = 500 g Mass % of solution = \[\frac{ Mass~ of ~solution }{ Mass ~of ~solute~×100 }\] \[=\frac{ 100 ~x~100 }{ 500 } = 20\]
