Do you know the formula for volume?

RomMosher:

yes v=PI R^2 h

RomMosher:

and v=LWH

RomMosher:

pi as in π

m4nt1c0r3:

Good, so find the volume of the box first

RomMosher:

187.5

m4nt1c0r3:

Alright, so what is the volume of one of the cans?

RomMosher:

24.54369261

RomMosher:

then times it by 6 and 147.2621556

m4nt1c0r3:

The formula for a cylinder is V= pi x r^2 x h

RomMosher:

Yes I know.

m4nt1c0r3:

So it would be V = pi x 2.5^2 x 5 Which would equal 98.17477

m4nt1c0r3:

Actually wait one sec

RomMosher:

it's 1.25 not 2.5

m4nt1c0r3:

But in the picture it says 2.5...

RomMosher:

Radius not diameter

RomMosher:

gtg

m4nt1c0r3:

Oh I thought it was pointing at the radius

m4nt1c0r3:

Well you multiply it by 6 and then you get 147.26211556. Then you divide it by 187.5 and you get 0.785398... Which you round to 78.5%

TyDaGreatest:

That would be correct good job
