AZ:

You want to eliminate the variable 'd' If you look at your two equations, in equation A, you have 'd' in equation B, you have '4d' what number do you have to multiply (and to which equation) so that way you when you add it up, you'll get 0 and the d will cross out? hint: what do you multiply to the first equation so that way when you add it with the 4d in the equation B, it will give you 0
