First get rid of the 4, divide each side by 4, and you get \(|0.5x-2.5|=0\) the absolute value signs usually make you create 2 equations, a negative and a positive of the right hand side but since it's 0, we can just get rid of the absolute value signs and do \(0.5x-2.5=0\) can you solve for x
