Most people make music by listening to it and getting inspired ( like smurkio said) And others would do what feels right with them or just writing lyrics ect, As long as you like it then your good

Practice ur normal pitch then gradually get higher and lower with your voice to find your range

Practicing with a straw in a cup. With water works really good. Or humming the song.

To write the song just say everything from your 💖.

If you can't think of anything to rhyme I suggest rhymezone.

Keep practicing and know that your mistakes make you better at it. They're your guide. There is no key.
