ok so the fixed rate is \( $75 \) that plus an additional \( $0.19 \) PER mile -- lets assume a mile is x -- so it would be \($0.19 \times x \) or just \( $0.19x \) now, what we are asked to find is how large should x be, so that its equal or greater than \( $100 \)? all that mathematically expressed would be: \[ $75 + $0.19x \geq $100 \] does that make sense?
