Ok. What do you notice about one number to the next? They are increasing at the same rate. What keeps its direction? a line, but a line can be flat(aka constant) that is why it has to be....(Your cue)

marissabartoldo:

so the answer is constant because all the numbers are increasing at the same rate?

NerdyLizard:

I can't help you more than I have. The final answer is yours to find. :)

SmokeyBrown:

NerdyLIzard is correct that you should pay attention to the rate of change. Specifically, as x increases by 1 each time, y doubles in size each time. "Constant" would mean that the value of y does not change, but remains the same, i.e. constant "Exponential" means that y increases by some multiplicative factor each time or, in other words, y is equal to some constant multiplied by another constant raised to the power of x "Linear" means that y increases by an additive amount each time "Quadratic" means that y is based on x raised to the power of some constant

marissabartoldo:

I just turned this in and got it wrong I would like to know the right answer

NerdyLizard:

What had you put in?
