Remember that heliocentric means that the planets in our galaxy revolve around the sun.

The number of planets doesn't matter here. I don't even think every planet in our solar system was discovered when Copernicus came up with his theory. What's important is that they're all revolving around the sun.

That's a geocentric model, and that's the one the church believed in. Copernicus believed in a heliocentric model.
