Every year, Bernie's family runs the sand castle contest during the Fun in the Sun beach festival. Bernie's job is to deliver empty buckets to the teams. This year, Bernie hands out the same number of buckets to each of the 12 teams in the contest. Each team gets 6 buckets. Use an equation to find the total number of buckets Bernie delivers. buckets

this doesn't give me options

SmokeyBrown:

If there are 6 teams and each team gets 12 buckets, we can solve the problem through multiplication. We could also represent this through an equation. Total buckets = number of teams * buckets per team And we could rewrite the equation with variables if we like as well T = t * b In any case, the answer should be the same. Does this help?

nightshade0773:

yup thx
